Drum Emporium is one of only a handful of companies that still sell and refurbish rope tension drums. Our drums are of the highest quality and our staff have years of experience in rope tension drum maintenance. We sell and refurbish rope tension side, tenor and bass drums. We can refurbish any drum regardless of the state it’s in. We’re always up for a challenge.

Here at Drum Emporium we use only the best quality Parts for all of our drums all of which are available as spare parts please see the list below. Our heraldry is second to none. You can find out more about our heraldry and our artist on the drum emblazon page. The shell of our drums are made of polished brass with a painted front panel, the hoops are of painted wood, drumheads are of vellum and the tension is by means of white rope with buff leather braces. Tuning is by gut snares. Each drum is hand emblazoned by a heraldic artist, using the finest oil colours. Once emblazoned, the heraldry is left to dry, and then given several coats of protective varnish. All our drums are made to order so there will be a waiting time for each drum ordered, however we do have some in stock so please email us and let us know what you’re after.

Coffee Tables

An additional service that we offer here at Drum Emporium is turning the drums into coffee tables. For an extra fee we can turn a drum in to a coffee table. This means adding; glass which is BS certified, Queen Anne style legs and a base. The base and legs come with a choice of staining. Please see below for some examples of our coffee tables.
